Who should use the program?
By age 50, women should make screening mammograms part of their regular health routine. Women can use the program by simply calling or emailing.

Is there quality control at Screening Mammography Centres?
SMP follows the accreditation standards set by the Canadian Association of Radiologists-Mammography Accreditation Program (CAR-MAP).
Who pays for screening mammography?
SMP is a B.C. government-funded program offered through the BC Cancer Agency, an agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority.
