Volunteers Make a Difference

Our mobile service visits many smaller locations within BC, including the Fraser Valley. We often need volunteers to greet clients and do administrative paperwork. A volunteer is needed infrequently, only once or twice a year.

Once or twice a year, a volunteer will be asked to work a 4-hour shift, usually for two or three days.  Volunteer duties include:

  • Welcome clients and any family members
  • Provide clients with questionnaires to complete and any relevant information, e.g., Next Step brochure
  • Take care of client forms/information for the technologists

Benefits of Volunteering

  • Enhance your existing skills and learn new ones
  • Meet new people while working in your community
